Fritzøe Nordic AS strengthens its market position by acquiring the Danish company Krydsfinér-Handelen A/S with takeover from 2 October 2023. Krydsfinér-Handelen A/S is a well-run third generation family company founded in 1928 and located in a good location and facility in Rødovre Copenhagen. The company is one of Denmark's leading wood-based panel specialists for the professional market.
This acquisition is in line with Fritzøe Nordic AS its strategy of further growth as a distributor of panel products, solid wood and other lumber products to building supply chains and wood-based industrial customers throughout Scandinavia. Krydsfinér-Handelen A/S is an efficiently run business that fits well into Fritzøe Nordic's business structure and culture, says Fritzøe Nordic CEO, Cato Ness. The company will continue as an independent profit center with Lars Langgaard as CEO.
A significant part of my decision was to find an owner who values our history, culture and who understands our operations.
